East Oakland rep Bobby Brackins is one of the more respected songwriters the Bay Area has to offer. Along with co-writing Tinashe’s breakout, “2 On,” DJ Khaled’s award-winning “I’m The One,” as well as a few others, Brackins is also partially responsible for the greatest song of all time, Ray J’s “I Hit It First.” Utilizing his obvious talents, Brackins drops off his energetic new Marc E. Bassy & P-Lo assisted single, “Whiplash 2.0”
Serving as essentially a remix to the version released earlier this year, “Whiplash 2.0” is rejuvenated and perfectly packaged as the single to help Brackins breakout as more than just a songwriter. Adding those qualities with a solid guest verse from P-Lo, & you’ve got a potential smash on your hands.
Listen to, “Whiplash 2.0” below and be sure to get familiar with Bobby Brackins.
