Toronto artist Love At First Sound is diving deep into the music scene with the debut of his first song titled “Everything.”
Music is the ultimate lingua franca for everyone, no matter what city you’re in. It is universal and “Everything” reinforces this.
There isn’t much about him on the internet, but his first single is structured uniquely and lasts 5 minutes and 30 seconds, ranging from punchlines to melodic flows and lyrics that touch listeners instantly. The song narrates a story of day-to-day things one can possibly think of throughout the day. Everyone has felt some type of way when friends don’t text back, and explaining your dreams to your parents (only for them to keep telling you to “knock it out”) is as relatable as it gets.
LAFS dives deep in the chorus: “you deserve what you’ve been through and if you been everything, you deserve everything” is a very powerful but memorable message that will make for a few teary eyes as the positive and uplifting nature of the song will have you swimming in a cool pool of melodic introspection.
