I must preface this by giving congrats to Drake for breaking his latest streaming record (above) — thanks to Scorpion, the Toronto star is now the first artist to reach a billion (plus) streams within a week. Very major.
If you missed it, Drake definitely shut down London over the weekend. First, he stopped by Link Up TV to bless them with a freestyle as part of their Behind Barz series, during which he dropped some scathing UK drill bars for a certain adversary. While it was dope, it’s definitely hard to vibe to Drake like this after, well, not responding to Pusha T‘s “Story Of Adidon” diss on wax. So, there’s that.
The above freestyle wasn’t the only surprise: Drizzy also decided to bless attendees at this year’s Wireless Festival with a surprise performance (following Wireless’ own botched cancellation of DJ Khaled). You can check out a clip of that below.
