UPDATE: On “I Might Need Security,” Chance The Rapper also revealed that he purchased the currently-dormant website Chicagoist. You can read his official statement about that here.
I’m going to guess that this is an attempt by Chance The Rapper to satisfy his fans, who were left pretty disappointed after he walked back a statement about an album dropping this week (source):
“[Chance The Rapper is] finishing up the follow-up album to his Grammy-winning 2016 release “Coloring Book,” which he says will be out in a few days.”
So: today, we do get to enjoy four new tracks from the Chicago emcee: “Wala Cam” (featuring Supa Bwe), “65th & Ingleside,” (my choice cut) “I Might Need Security” and — an apparent favorite on the internets, thus far — “Work Out.”
Check ’em out below. Hopefully, Chance’s official follow-up to the GRAMMY-winning Coloring Book is somewhere on the horizon.
