Harlem is home to many great artists in hip-hop, past and present, and I don’t think the number of successes there will stop anytime soon. Case in point: rising artist Sheck Wes is quickly gaining new listeners daily as he grows into a premiere artist that can hold his own — just as he did on the Governor’s Ball stage alongside Travis Scott, where he got the crowd even more hype with his popular song “Mo Bamba,” released earlier this year.
If you haven’t listened to Sheck Wes, then you should get in tune ASAP as he makes his mark throughout the industry. Sheck Wes went from sleeping on the floor at his friends home to being on tour with Pusha T (in promotion of Pusha’s latest album DAYTONA), a big step forward that I’m sure Sheck will learn from. Check this artist out and be on the lookout for his upcoming album Mudboy.
