Major Lazer recently held an amazing street-side event & concert in Chicago with BACARDI rum. Tons of music lovers and press attended to experience the specialty cocktails and overall activation.
The group is excited to showcase the continuous partnership with the rum brand and shared some moments about their overall career and collaboration.

Question: Could You Briefly Describe Your 2018 Sound Of Rum Bacardi Partnership?
Answer: “We’re here in Chicago – and its going to be a matter of different events we do with Bacardi. Like pop-up events and concerts in different cities. Looking to find a lot of young artists that we can bring up from the beginning and we have a rum flavor that we created. We’re just traveling and spreading our music around.”
Q: What Inspired This Year’s Location In Chicago?
A: “Chicago’s my favorite city in the summer time. And this is a city of one of our biggest fanbases.”
Q: From This Experience Which Is Your Favorite Bacardi Cocktail?
A: “Walshy Fire Reggae punch.”
Q: What New Music Or Upcoming Collaborations Do You Guys Have In The Works?
A: “We have 4 songs coming out at the end of the summer coming out with some African artists.”
Q: What Do You Guys Consider The Creative Process Behind Your Music?
A: “Eat some vegetables, read a book, get behind the computer, and drink some Walshy Fire Reggae punch.”
