As reported via Complex, Rap’s longstanding crown-bearer Jay-Z has joined Puma as creative consultant (earlier reports listed him as either creative director or president of basketball operations; Puma’s global director of brand and marketing, Adam Petrick, has since clarified).
The deal follows Puma’s apparent return to basketball, after having signed top draft prospects including Arizona’s DeAndre Ayton and Duke’s Marvin Bagley III.
