Seven years ago today, the Queen, Beyoncé released her fourth album, 4, that resembles her favorite number. Many of the stunning tracks have co-written by The Dream. This was her intimate but favorite album she has done at that time. It is filled with women empowerment, moving lyrics and self-enrichment for the soul of the content she is trying to prove through her music. It is a commitment to one person in this lifetime. If you haven’t noticed with this album, that she provided a bounce but mid-tempo to it with a summer time vibe.
This album has reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts across the country. Many of the singles from the album are: “Countdown,” “Party,” “Best Thing I Never Had,” “Love On Top” and so much more. “Run the World (Girls)” singer won a Grammy for the Best Traditional R&B Performance which was “Love On Top.” Do you remember when she performed “Love on Top” at MTV’s Video Music Awards, and afterward she popped her jacket off and rubbed her stomach that she was pregnant? Boy what good times is for the Hive! Also on the “Countdown” visual, she was a few months pregnant while filming the video. Peep the two visuals below and remember when she first released this album.
