Three new Hip-Hop releases of three different variations for you to enjoy this holiday weekend. Let’s get to it:
Pusha T – DAYTONA
At this point, we don’t have to say much about this one: we’ve broken down much of what you can expect here. Nonetheless, both Pusha T and Kanye West (who produced the entire thing) just raised the bar for Hip-Hop with this 7-track work of art. Don’t waste anymore time if you haven’t pressed play on this one already — hell, it’s only 21 minutes long.
A$AP Rocky – Testing
Following a slew of heavily experimental releases (including some performance art), A$AP Rocky finally delivers his new album Testing. The project sees 15 tracks with appearances from KiD CuDi (who appears on an updated version of the Moby-backed “A$AP Forever,” T.I. (sort of), Lauryn Hill (also sort of), Frank Ocean, French Montana, Skepta, FKA Twigs and more. While Rocky dived head-first into the album’s production, he still receives a ton of assistance from Hector Delgado, Clams Casino, DJ Khalil among others. R.I.P. Yams.
Zaytoven – Trap Holizay
Can you believe this is is Zaytoven‘s official debut album? After a pretty long and successful career in Hip-Hop’s mainstream, the super-producer delivers his new masterpiece Trap Holizay, which sees 12 tracks and appearances from (longtime collaborator) Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, Yo Gotti, T.I., Pusha T, Offset, Kodak Black and loads more. Turn up with Zaytoven below.
