Yesterday, literally all of Hip-Hop not named Minaj, Drake or Safaree was cheering on Meek Mill, who has finally been released from prison after a roller coaster of events (leading up to an order from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Upon his release, Meek was then whisked away by Philadelphia 76ers Michael Rubin to last night’s playoff game by helicopter, later ringing the team’s ceremonial bell and sitting courtside with his son (the 76ers won too, only adding to the positive vibes).
Naturally, many of Meek Mill’s peers also chimed in on his (hopefully permanent) freedom, which can be seen below. In related news, Meek isn’t out of the legal woods yet — especially with that judge reportedly refusing to remove herself from the case.
