UPDATE: And — for the biggest announcement of all — ‘Ye took to Twitter to announce a new Nas album. And it’s dropping in June.
What an amazing year for Hip-Hop thus far. Kendrick Lamar won a Pulitzer, Jay-Z won a Peabody…Migos, Cardi B, Nipsey Hussle, XXXTentacion and even 6ix9ine have all seen successful chart placements thus far. J. Cole has an album out today (April 20th), while Drake‘s is on the horizon. All is (debatably) well for the culture.
Now, add Kanye West to 2018’s pot: the oft-polarizing musical genius has returned to Twitter to — among other things — announce new albums and dates from himself, Pusha T and Teyana Taylor. He’s even dropping a joint project with KiD CuDi.
Check out his tweets below.
