This go ’round, Janelle Monáe is making some dope, unfiltered music for the grown folks (not that she ever really censored herself). Following the recent releases “Make Me Feel” and “Django Jane,” the absolutely breathtaking Monáe drops a new visual for “PYNK,” which is basically what you’d expect, and then some:
“PYNK” is a brash celebration of creation, self love, sexuality, and p***y power! “PYNK” is the color that unites us all, for pink is the color found in the deepest and darkest nooks and crannies of humans everywhere… “PYNK” is where the future is born.
Check out the sexually-charged clip — directed by Emma Westenberg — above. Monáe’s new album, Dirty Computer, drops April 27th.
