In Toronto’s ascending rap scene, Nappz makes a statement with his latest single “I Stir” featuring his fellow collaborator Macc G. The song is an homage to the best shooters in the game but the video is set in a very quasi trapping-out-the-bando aesthetic. Getting straight to the point and not being bashful about it may be his best attribute.
The music video captures Nappz posted up in a casual indoor setting (presumably downtown). The clips integrate with him sipping on Hennessy, chilling in luxury cars and of course in-between showing off his grills. The best part is the way the song kicks off with a person speaking of Derek Fisher being the best shooter in the game, it sets the tone for Nappz to channel his inner Derek Fisher for the track at the same time sing/rapping about how he knows a couple of Currys meaning he knows a couple of shooters.
His raps highlight young rappers self-confidence as he boasts about his well-connected alias. In today’s rap norm in the city of Toronto, Nappz successfully finds his place as he claims it with Steez. Take in the video below.
