SoundCloud is the definitive destination for creators and music fans who want to be first to share and discover what’s new, now and next in music. This year they celebrated the power of “First On SoundCloud,” returning to Austin last week [March 12th-13th] to showcase some of 2018’s most exciting acts who got their start and making their mark on the world using the SoundCloud platform.
SoundCloud and Zelle took over the iconic Native Hostel in the heart of downtown Austin. For two nights, March 12th and 13th, Room 512 brought to life music discovery experiences fans experienced on SoundCloud everyday. The event spotlighted every corner of the platform from hip-hop and alternative, to electronic and pop, with performances from Elohim, Jay Prince, Kitty Cash, Melo Makes Music, Nilufer Yanya, Party Pupils, Smokepurpp, Whethan and Yung Pinch.
