Assists are one of the most crucial assests of life. For the most part, assists are usually only measured statistically in sports, but I’d like to start seeing them accounted for everywhere. Music, business, cooking, etc. Can you imagine how differently we would look at people? In any case, RESPECT. Mag favorite, Teej returns to the pages with a new vibe. Only this time, he’s playing point guard to an intriguing new artist from the same Las Vegas area, Itsrayiguess.
In their sobering new track, “Mr. Nice Guy.” the duo play nicely off of each other, building off of one another’s playful manner while tackeling such a grim subject. (Yes, being the “Nice Guy” and having to acknowledge it will always be grim.) With witty bars and catchy hooks that Teej has at this point, started to build a fanbase from, Ray never feels like the new kid in town. Instead, the two combine to make for one of the more refreshing, and truthful songs of the young year.
