Broccoli City weekend is a 3-day event in Washington, DC dedicated to people who strive to create a better world. Through the programs set in place, Broccoli City is able to create higher standards for sustainable living, environmental stability, economic opportunity and access to higher quality food and shelter. It’s a complete fusion of music, food, great people and a greater cause.
One of the main components to Broccoli City weekend is an all-day music festival featuring some of the top names in hip-hop and R&B. In 2016, the festival brought the talents of Anderson .PAAK, The Internet, Jhené Aiko and headliner, Future, to the nations capital. In 2017, the festival brought an equally strong lineup to DC. Lil Yachty, 21 Savage, Solange and Rae Sremmurd topped the festival. We’re now gearing up for the next installment of the Broccoli City Festival in April.
April 26, 2018 brings us the next Broccoli City annual event. The lineup is just as stacked as it has been in the past. What’s even more impressive is the amount of artists on this year’s bill that are currently at the peak of their careers. Rich The Kid, Nipsey Hussle, Cardi B, Miguel and Migos top the bill. Daniel Caesar and H.E.R. are also set to perform. If you don’t want to watch the live music going on all day, there will be much more to look forward to. Some of DC’s best artists will be painting live art installations. Special guest speakers who are all for the mission of Broccoli City will also be presented during showcases. 2018 will be the beginning of Broccoli City Conference, a 2-day interactive conference co-hosted by GOOGLE DC.
