Chicago’s hip-hop music scene has always been prominent from the likes of Kanye West, Twista, Common, Bump J, and many more. Today, Kid Breeze and Richie Wes come through to deliver some high quality bars in this Rickee Arts production.
“Pressure” is a solid piece of work that you could definitely vibe and relate to. The interchangeable hook the two artists provide sets the perfect tone for this type of record: “This what I know about it/On the grind you a star, but you’ll grow up out it/We all got problems, it’s how you go about it/ This what I know about it—This what I know about it.”
With this raw footage based in front of Chicago’s own Chicago’s Philly Stop & Tobacco on a cold night, this adds fuel to the track’s fire and authenticity. If it’s one thing you could take from “Pressure” — if you stay solid then you can get through whatever, word to Richie.
Be on the lookout for Kid Breeze’s upcoming project Snowball Effect, hosted by DJ First Class and Richie Wes’ F2 — this record will most certainly end up on the track-listings. Judging from the sound of “Pressure,” we may be in store for more collaborations with the two in the near future. Check it out below and let us know what you think!
