Today, Detroit rapper Payroll Giovanni and producer Cardo Got Wings decide to join forces yet again for their new project Big Bossin Vol. 2. Laced with 16 tracks in total, this project features guest appearances from Jeezy, E-40, Yhung To, Jade Jones, Cashout Calhoun, Overlord Scooch, and more. Of course the production is presumably handled entirely by Cardo, who also contributed to Migos’ new album Culture 2.
This is actually the third installment in the Big Bossin series from frequent collaborators. The first volume dropped in May 2016, followed by Big Bossin 1.5, which came out last month — the same day the duo announced they inked a deal with Def Jam Records.
Recently, Payroll told FSD:
Big Bossin’ 2 is like that next level and what comes with it — the bad and the good. The consequences behind your choices and everything not being as glamorous. I’m really touching on that.
