This standout Virginia artist gives his hometown of Richmond, VA something to be proud of.
Michael Millions just dropped his brand new album Hard to Be King which is the follow up to his 2015 release Beautiful. It features immaculate production from NameBrand, Bandolero, Nickelus F, JL Hodges, Mitchy Luv, EPTheOutkast, Melodic, DJ Punisha and Sycho Sid. Additionally, the project includes essential vocal features from Francoise Hamilton, Nickelus F, Radio B, Fly Anakin, Melodic and Easalio.
“Hard to Be King has tons of live sounds, mostly to represent the sonic feel of Richmond. Personally, it’s of course an album about my life in coded relatable topics and experiences. This is an album about me facing the up’s and downs in my real life. I never really had a drop day for the album, I just wanted to drop it when the energy felt perfect. Beautiful was not designed to be an album full of songs, some verses here and there but no full songs, it was more so a long EP. Hard to Be King is full of songs streamed together as a complete perspective with all the feels.” – Millions
