Kicking off the year in a strong manner, Pittsburgh’s underrated emcee J-Haze returns with a brand new video for his track “Dreamin Willie Beamen.” The thought-provoking track lives on Haze’s 2017 project Heroin Habits 2, which served as the follow-up to his fan-approved 2015 effort. Focused on the current, Haze is set to release his new street album Pittsburgh via Iconic Music Group/EMPIRE — a clear ode to his hometown and the extreme importance it’s had on his life.
For the “Dreamin Willie Beamen” visual, Haze uses his real-life experiences to showcase a situation that happens far too often where drugs get the best of people and essentially ruin their career and life potential. “Successful people end up turning to heavy drug use, which makes their goals simply a dream,” Haze says.
Spreading a worthwhile message behind his music has always been important for the authentic spitter. Check it out below and let us know what you think!
