Fat Joe is gearing up for the release of his new album The Book Of Joe, of which the momentum was kicked off by the Dre-assisted “So Excited.” Now, the two collaborators strike twice with the new single “Pick It Up,” which comes with a message-heavy visual.
The clip sees Joe and Tiffany Haddish recreating the infamous Mike Myers and Kanye West moment during a telethon for Hurricane Katrina (“George Bush doesn’t care about Black people”), which is now in support of Puerto Rico post-Hurricane Maria and aimed at Donald Trump. Joe and Dre can also be seen living it up in Las Vegas, flexing over a classic 2Pac sample (“Ambitionz Az A Ridah”). I expect this one to see success in strip clubs.
