You heard that Drake‘s latest single “God’s Plan” broke the record for most streams on Spotify; he also broke the record on Apple Music with 14 million streams when it first came out, according to Zane Lowe. The new accomplishment also dethroned Taylor Swift, who previously had the most streamed single for “Reputation.”
Drake entered 2018 with fire after releasing his two-song EP, Scary Hours, which also featured the track “Diplomatic Immunity.” This is only the beginning for the Toronto rapper. He celebrated his win by posting a picture where, on the same day, LeBron James reached his 30,000 point mark, breaking the record for the youngest in scoring points in the NBA.
Drake was also recently in Memphis the weekend of his EP release, along with Blocboy JB and producer TayKeith; could they possible be doing music together in secret? Hopefully we will get new music from the two. Drake was in a club one night where the Memphis duo taught him how to do the “shoot” dance. We will see what this year will bring if he will bring Memphis type vibes to his new albums or future singles. Peep the video of him doing the “shoot dance” and preview of new music.
