This weekend, we’d like to introduce to you British musical duo Vesce, which is made up of Rafael Powell and Dan Jenkins. The two have effortlessly crafted a beautiful blend of Electronic sounds with R&B vibes, and have now blessed the world with their 4-track new EP Self Edit. The project is led by incredible “Zender,” which perfectly melds nostalgic piano melodies with heavily-layered, somewhat melancholic vocals. Listeners may get strokes of James Blake, Jack Garrett or Lapalux upon first listen, but it’s clear that Vesce are developing their style into something all its own — a true evolution of melting pot, genre-bending Soul.
Check out both “Vender” and Self Edit below.
