Chill Moody cemented his status as one of the top lyricists to hit Philadelphia in years when he won “Best Rapper” in Philadelphia Magazine’s annual Best of Philly issue. Known for his dynamic live performances, Moody has performed on all the areas’ best stages, including Wawa Welcome America, the Roots Picnic, the Kimmel Center, The Fillmore and he has had multiple sold-out shows at the TLA, The Trocadero and Hard Rock Café.
After announcing that he’d be brewing his own signature beer with Dock Street Brewery called “nicethingsIPA,” Moody went on to release his Its Gon’ Be A Nice Year EP in February 2017.
Today, the Philadelphia Music Ambassador returns to offer a personal new Secret Society-produced track, titled “Hey Momma.” Celebrating his mother’s birthday, Chill Moody uses his veteran lyricism to deliver the perfect audible gift for his mother with help from singer Teimi.
