After seeing the year that Atlanta super-group, Migos has had on their own, as well as together–it’s not hard to imagine other Hip-Hop collectives to seek the same formula. Although many will fail, West Coast duo BB Koat & BB Knight have created wide open lanes together, and on their solo tip. With Knight kicking it off with the buzzing Lonewolf-directed visuals for his single, “Zines” Koat ups the ante with the wildly infectious new track, “No Stress.”
Sticking to the catchy, melodic flow that has made him a standout on their group cuts–Koat showcases a vast lyrical improvement that’s going to make this track a fan favorite with trendy bars like, “Yeah we smoking on the back, we don’t fuck with bongs.”
With a calculated image to go along with an equally infectious vocal style, Koat has solidified a solid solo trajectory to match the limitless potential that the duo has showcased.
