The city of Atlanta is known for providing Hip Hop fans with new stars on a regular basis. The past few years has been no different. Now, with 2017 winding down, a newcomer looks to stake his claim and gain the same mainstream notoriety as his peers, 24Heavy. A native of ATL’s West Side Vince City aka The Bluff, Heavy grew up with some of today’s most notable artists including YFN Lucci, Ralo, Nick Grant, Young Scooter and more. So much so, that Heavy still recalls recording some of his earliest music at Lucci’s home.
Following a 6-year legal set back, 24Heavy released his debut project Heavy World this past summer under the umbrella of Atlanta’s rising independent label Never Eat Alone Entertainment. Following the release, his single “Sacrifices” began gaining traction in the streets of Atlanta. Inspired by personal life situations, the track has heavy 808s and trap drums, which have become synonymous with his city. This time around, he unveils the official music video for “Sacrifices.”
