While her album is in limbo due to sample clearances and other music politics, she pressed a button and gifted us with a whole new project. 10 songs worth.
It should be noted if she’s sitting on more samples, her debut album will be heat. This tape is filled with samples, and none of them miss. She tries her hand at Lil Jon’s “Play No Games,” and even TLC’s “Creep.” With all 10 songs Kamaiyah proves she’s indeed the leading lady of the G-Funk movement that has been bringing itself back to the forefront of rap. This is probably just a sample of what that debut album will be like, but it’s a delicious one. Eat up below.
