If it’s one think Cam’ron is a master at, it’s being highly unorthodox with his sample/cover choices (dead ass). Add this one to the list: Cam’ron delivers a new visual for “Lean,” which takes from Bill Withers‘ classic song “Lean On Me.” The clip mixes shots of Killa in the hood and with the kids…unadulterated non-fiction from one of the greatest to ever do it.
Check out “Lean” above, which is taken from Cam’ron’s recent drop The Program; speaking of which, the Harlem veteran had come interesting words for former ally Kanye West on “Cole Slaw”:
Kanye got on stage, what he do? Played Jay-Z out
What he do next? Check into the crazy house?
F*** that you made a living talking greazy
Besides that man you Yeezy with the Yeezy’s
Be yourself, you ain’t gotta go AWOL
And f*** that Ye yay been this way since yay tall
If you regret it then dead but if you said it you said it
You meant what you said, can’t tell me forgive and forget it
