Later this month, artist 2JaysLeft — also known as Produca P — will deliver the third installment of his popular series UptNegus, which he explained to be a movement about bringing positive reinforcement to Uptown, Washington D.C., his stomping grounds:

The title UptNegus started as a way for me to inspire my neighborhood. I wanted to remind people that we were kings and queens even though it didn’t seem like it. The project is a way for the world to see and hear about what’s really going on in the streets of Northwest DC, just a few blocks away from the White House.

This week, the rising star and Likeblood Ent. affiliate blesses the masses with his first official offering from UptNegus 3 titled “Praying 4 Em,” which features Tookah Hendrix and sees the collaborators delivering that very knowledge over Kendrick Lamar‘s “Fear” instrumental (produced by The Alchemist). Vibe to that below…UptNegus 3 (of which we’ve also included the tracklisting) sees the light of day November 24th.
