#PeepTheVisual: Semy Patron - "Darker" - RESPECT. | The Photo Journal of Hip-Hop Culture

Randal Shelton, Aka Semy Patron, was raised in the Orchard Park Projects in Boston, Mass. He moved to Atlanta, GA at the young age of 5 where he grew up in a family that pursued music as a career. That inspired Semy to grow interest in the world of art. Today, he offers up brand new visuals for his most recent single, “Darker“.

Art is one of Semy’s biggest hobbies. Drawing but with music, Semy always found himself feeling more comfortable expressing his feelings by painting a different picture with words that accurately depict his life and moments he wanted to share with the world. “You have to express your emotions in a sense the people can feel what you’re actually saying” is what he tells everyone.
Although growing up in the stuffiest neighborhoods, Semy often hung around kids that were considered nerds, geeks or outcasts, due to the fact he was a people person and learned from everyone around him. He began to develop a new sound he coined “Zooted”, describing an undeniable feeling you would feel if you ever heard his music.
