In anticipation of his 2000 Hollygrove mixtape dropping November 17th, Young Money artist Jay Jones releases the first single from the project entitled “Jump Back.”
“Was putting the song list together for the 2000 Hollygrove mixtape. The whole time I was thinking about what this means for me, my family, my city, my neighborhood. Thought about some of my conversations with Wayne about the music we creating and then I got a excited, I got hype. I jumped up hit the studio and “Jumpback” flowed. “Jumpback” is the anthem for anyone putting in that work, trying to make history with whatever you do….just doing it…make it happen.”
Coming out of Hollygrove (New Orleans, Louisiana), rap’s mecca of unique talent, Jay Jones’ roots are planted and stretched far enough to make a mark on the entertainment world for years. He recently began touring with Lil Wayne’s Kloser 2 U Tour and has traveled across the U.S. performing in various shows, including Wayne’s SXSW headlined show.
