NexXthursday Connects with Quavo & Lil Yachty on "Sway"

NYC-to-LA rising star NexXthursday has a bonafide hit on his hands with his latest — the bouncing, melodic “Sway,” which features Atlanta’s Quavo and Lil Yachty and comes with a colorful new visual (directed by Super Deluxe). The mostly-animated clip sees the three collaborators living in a video game as a few beautiful women take over the controls. As NexXthursday explains, the song was birthed from a vice-heavy, debaucherous evening out:

“Sway” was a record that was based on a true story of a wild night in the club and too much liquor… I wanted to connect the fun vibe that I felt that night to the record alongside a trendy hook. When I hear “Sway,” it just reminds me of fun vibes, so we wanted to go non-traditional with this video. I received great responses from the lyric video so I wanted to continue the concept by keeping it bright and fun. It’s just a feel good song and visual.
