This weekend sees a new release from Highbridge’s A Boodie Wit Da Hoodie titled “Day 1,” which may or may not be a leftover track from his big label debut The Bigger Artist. Unfortunately, he’s not in the news for new music right now — according to various reports, he and fellow XXL Freshman classmate PnB Rock decided to jump Bay Area’s own Lil B during the recent leg of Rolling Loud. Apparently, Lil B made a statement saying that New York artists sound like DeJ Loaf, which led to the altercation. As of now, neither (alleged) aggravator has responded to the incident, but Lil B has plenty to say on stage and in subsequent interviews:
I was violently jumped by A Boogie… I was 1 deep no security its good I forgive them love y’all. Just because someone hurts you does not mean you need to retaliate! I love the people who jumped me I mean that stay positive…
Anyways, check out A Boogie’s latest below.
