Youngstown, Ohio artist KeilyN was off the scene for a while, but he’s back with new music and we just received his first offering. The song is dope, but what’s even more important is the message that the video depicts.
KeilyN is having a regular day with his homies until it all gets derailed by a routine police stop. He’s in a nice neighborhood with a certain car, and that’s most likely the basis of the stop. A clear case of racial profiling, that’s what he’s trying to bring to the light, with it being a problem in his hometown of Youngstown, Ohio, which is ranked first in the U.S. for poverty.
The song and video both drive home points that we need to hear, and it’s good music. Check the video out above and keep your eyes peeled for more KeilyN.
