TYDM (Thank You Don Mo’Retti) is a South Carolina native who loves to create films, photography, production and stellar music as the soundtrack to his vision. He brings a true art experience to his growing fan base, as you might have heard around a year ago when he released Moon Roof Condo and it set off! Recently, he’s been touring the project in the southeast and I got a chance to catch up with TYDM to hear all about the tour and what’s on the horizon for this star.

RESPECT.: Let’s start with what is your highlight moment of the tour so far?
My highlight moment is where I tested a track that was unreleased and it was pure craziness. It was very dope to where the crowd knew the words to the song. Also it stood out to me is where the fans wanted to know what is the name of the track after I performed it.
RESPECT.: Which brands currently inspire you?
My favorite logo is Supreme because it gives simplicity. It is so simple but they made it expensive. I always take that logo and apply it to my brand and business as a theme. I want my fans to understand that I want my brand to bland and simplistic.
RESPECT.: What is your favorite track or to perform to off of Moon Roof Condo?
My favorite track I have to say is “Basqis Only.” I recorded that song on the beach. That song is a favorite of mines because it is very energetic and it was fire between the producer and I making it.
RESPECT.: Things been looking great after you released your first EP and now you’re going on tour, what are some inspirations for artist starting up?
The advice that I could give to other artists is to find a group of friends who have the same drive and passion as you. Figure it out as the time go and never give up on your dreams.
RESPECT.: Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
I see myself as one of the top influences! By giving back by starting a “Thank You Movement.” Most importantly I’m focused on my following of my fans and giving a soundtrack to a better life.
RESPECT.: Any new music coming out soon? Collabs? upcoming performances?
I will be having new music that will be releasing this fall, its done. I’m excited to share visuals and upcoming singles. I want to keep my fans up-to-date by uploading content periodically.
