Artist, Producer, and Visionary Texaco J teamed up with producer Leekix for a new project. The duo recently shared their new mixtape Blue Moon Night$ on Datpiff earlier this week. After the projects completion, the two artists discovered they’re are ready to take their music to the next level.
After Texaco dropped out of college in Houston, he moved to the City of Angels to pursue his dream of being a full time artist. Now the two are faithfully shaking things up in the music scene by garnering the attention of many music fans. As for Leekix, the well-deserved success lead him to producing records for big names like Joey Bada$$, Capital Steez, Nyck Caution, and The Underachievers.
Texaco J and Leekix exhibits a sound unlike any other in today’s rap scene. You can stream Blue Moon Night$ in full here or check out its leading track “.Ghetto” below. The mixtape is set to release on Tidal and Spotify on the 22nd of September.
