Florida Hip-Hop is absolutely on fire right now, thanks to new generation artists from XXXTentacion to Kodak Black. Another one is Miami’s Smokepurpp, who — along with Lil Pump — has developed a strong fanbase via their unique brand of turn-up.
This week, Smokepurpp delivers a new single titled “Bless Yo Trap,” which was produced by Ice Bream and premiered via Billboard, where the emcee-producer also explained its creation:
Soundboi and I recorded the track one late night in a Park Ave penthouse while looking down at Manhattan… I just want to bless everyone’s trap. Motivate people to hustle. Encourage everyone to be getting money like me.
Check out “Bless Yo Trap” (along with another strong cut — the Juicy J-assisted “Streets Love Me”) below, which is said to appear on Smokepurpp’s debut project DEADSTAR, out September 22nd. The forthcoming release will reportedly feature appearances from Pump, D.R.A.M. and Yo Gotti alongside production from Harry Fraud, TM88, Zaytoven and more.
