Machine Gun Kelly has to be one of the most-underrated artists in Hip-Hop, especially after the release of the well-received — yet undersold — Bloom. Regardless, the Cleveland emcee continues to march forward with new visuals from the project.
Following “Trap In Paris,” “At My Best” and chart-topper “Bad Things” comes a Ryan Hardy-directed clip for “Let You Go,” which sees MGK performing on a television show in the 60’s (it’s immediately reminiscent of OutKast‘s “Hey Ya,” minus MGK playing every character a la Andre 3000). It’s further departure from the “Wild Boy” style videos of old, although some of the no-rules approach still exists (ex. the smoking scene). Simply put, it’s still Machine Gun Kelly, just with growth.
Enjoy “Let You Go” above and — if you haven’t yet — check out Bloom here.
