Lute has a very unique story, and at the end of it all he’s finally getting to release his project after years of waiting. Originally slated for a 2014 release, that was held up by J.Cole on the night it almost came out, Lute is now dropping as a member of Dreamville. Precise raps over the most calm of beats find Lute talking about growing up in Charlotte, his daughter, and the struggles that made him the man he is today.
Not one to get lost in features he only brings the likes of his homies with Elevator Jay, Earthgang, Cam O’bi and a few others making appearances. We can’t wait to see what Lute does from here, but for now Dreamville has another budding artist that can rap his behind off. RESPECT was able to catch up with Lute for a interview too, so while you’re listening make sure you check out him breaking down the album and how J.Cole changed his life.
