It was only a matter of time. Cardi B has seen her status raised to A-list thanks to the success of her breakout single “Bodak Yellow,” titled in reference to Florida artist Kodak Black (a portion of Cardi’s delivery mimics Kodak’s flow on “No Flockin'”). Now, the New York rapper pays homage to the song’s unofficial predecessor by connecting with Kodak for a dope remix, which is sure to continue the lifespan of “Bodak Yellow” (expected to land at number one on the Billboard 100).
