ILOVEMAKONNEN has been fairly quiet on the music-making front this year (save for Fun Summer 17), which is why we’re excited to see the Atlanta artist back on the scene with a new record.
Above lies “Love,” which is a definite departure from the more Hip-Hop-styled cuts from the free agent. The track is produced by Mike WiLL Made-It and features Rae Sremmurd; it sounds as if “Love” leans more in ’60’s Rock territory than anything else. The clip sees ILOVEMAKONNEN singing about an apparent break-up on a beach; Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi can be found at a luau/drive-through movie-style gathering later on.
Enjoy “Love” above and pick up the single here.
