Brodie Fresh is hungry for success; this can definitely be seen/heard on the New Yorker’s new release “Liar Liar,” which features Mickey Shiloh and sees production from Big Duke. The hard-hitting cut is certainly good for any scenario, but the lyrics keep the listener focused on what’s important: grinding toward your goals instead of fronting as if you’ve already reached them:
Everybody say they doing better
Focus up and I’ve been doing me
Got no time to be watching n***as
Been grinding for it I’ve been losing sleep
Signing off and started losing friends
The ones who hating screaming, ‘you the man’
I check off goals and set a newer plan
And if they with me then they knew the plan…
Enjoy “Liar Liar” above and pick up the single via iTunes. This is definitely one to add to the career playlist.
