Hailing from the Northern Bay Area, The Enlightened Minds Collective release their first project, with founder Lemel Mikell‘s self titled debut project, Lemel Mikell. Keeping the track count short and sweet, Lemel nonetheless offers up a diverse tracklist equipped with multiple styles.
An accumulation of ten years of musical experience, he taps into his trap arsenal to create a multitude of different sounds. Inspired by a lack of diversity in his local music scene, Lemel aims to pave the way for Northern Bay Area musicians to gain notability in the industry. Although the Bay has helped shaped Lemel and his style, he’s definitely not just another Bay Area rapper. The project is produced by fellow EMC member Alan Paul and is recorded, mixed, and mastered by Bay Area vet Starski at the legendary Grill Studios. The project also offers a feature from EMC artist Nat Moss on track 4.
This project is sure to place Lemel at the forefront of the Northern Bay Area’s musical arena! The project is also available on Apple Music, YouTube, Spotify, Tidal, Google Play, and Amazon Music.
