It’s been 8 years since Virginia brothers Clipse delivered Til The Casket Drops; since then, Pusha T has stepped out as a solo artist, becoming one of the premier emcees in today’s Hip-Hop. While not necessarily silent, the man now known as No Malice built upon his Christian faith, steering clear away from his traditional cocaine bars for a more spiritual style. He’s since dropped a book (Wretched, Pitiful, Poor, Blind & Naked) and debuted his own project Hear Ye Him back in 2013 — a notable pre-cursor to the likes of God-fearing lyricists Chance The Rapper and Kendrick Lamar.
Now, No Malice liberates a brand new album titled Let The Dead Bury The Dead, which is led by the singles “Fake News” and “So Woke”. Unfortunately, King Push doesn’t make an appearance, although (No) Malice more than makes up for it with powerful, thought-provoking bars about religion, politics, our society and more.
Stream Let The Dead Bury The Dead below, along with visuals to the aforementioned singles.
