Courtesy of his work over at BBC 1Xtra (as well as his Hood Heat mixtape series), North West Londoner Charlie Sloth has been supplying dope music to the masses for a while now. His next move forward sees him following in the footsteps of other DJ peers like Khaled and Drama — this weekend, Sloth delivered his debut album The Plug, which contains a whopping 22 tracks and features from artists on both sides of the pond.
Led by the singles/visuals for “#FameGame,” “Walk Away,” “Running,” “Wake Up” and — most recently — “What I Can Do,” The Plug also sees appearances from Giggs, WSTRN, Ghetts, Donae’O, 21 Savage, Ace Hood, Bugzy Malone, JMC, Stormzy, Jadakiss, Lady Leshurr, Sean Kingston, Mic Righteous and loads more, all backed by Sloth’s genre-bending production.
