If you’re not aware: Drake entered the whiskey business in the not-so-distant past via his fledgling Virginia Black imprint (which I’m now looking to cop at a liquor store near me). Since then, we’ve seen both passive promotion and direct plugs in the Canadian star’s lyrics, all helping to raise Virginia Black’s profile as the latest Hip-Hop drink worth checking out following the Cirocs, DeLeons, Conjures and — for the sake of reminiscing — Armidales (remember that Jay-Z-backed vodka? He’s certainly upgraded his beverage business since then).
This week, Drake revealed new advertisements to expand awareness on his alcohol, all done with the help of his father Dennis Graham. The unintentionally-hilarious clips seem to make light of the infamous Dos Equis commercials featuring ‘The Most Interesting Man in the World‘…in this case, Drizzy introduces the viewer to ‘The Realest Dude Ever’.
