A great day for new Hip-Hop music. This Friday sees the release of two highly-anticipated projects, as well as an early surprise stream for a third — all of which can be enjoyed below.
Vic Mensa – The Autobiography
While this isn’t officially released until July 28th, Vic Mensa‘s debut album The Autobiography is now streaming in full courtesy of NPR. The Chicago emcee’s new project sees 15 tracks and appearances from Pusha T (“OMG”), Ty Dolla $ign, Pharrell Williams (“Wings”), The-Dream, Chief Keef and more.
Despite well-received EPs over the past year or so, it seems like certain peers — *ahem* Chance The Rapper *ahem* — have received a lot more attention out the gate; it’s hopeful that this project will be what finally gives Vic Mensa his deserved accolades.

Tyler, The Creator – Scum F*** Flower Boy
Today also sees the new album from Tyler, The Creator titled Scum F*** Flower Boy (or just Flower Boy), his fourth studio album and first since 2015’s Cherry Bomb. This album will be sure to remain in Hip-Hop debates for sometime, thanks to lyrics that may allude to Tyler’s coming out (something we’d expect him to speak on at some point).
Flower Boy was entirely produced by Tyler himself and sees some assistance from Frank Ocean, A$AP Rocky, Kali Uchis, Jaden Smith, Estelle, Lil Wayne and more over 14 tracks, including the singles “Who Dat Boy” and “911 / Mr. Lonely.”
Meek Mill – Wins & Losses
If DC4 was Meek Mill’s comeback release, Wins & Losses is definitely his redemption project. The 17-track project features appearances from Quavo, Rick Ross, Yo Gotti, Young Thug, Future, Lil Uzi Vert and more. Singles include “Whatever You Need” and the more socially-charged “YBA.”
Two people who definitely didn’t make it on the project since 2015’s Dreams Worth More Than Money: Drake and Nicki Minaj (both explanatory). Do expect Meek to speak on these two throughout the transparent album.
Also included: Meek Mill’s latest interview with Ebro In The Morning on HOT 97.
