As America celebrated its independence this 4th of July, Philly’s own Warchyld is kicking off his own celebration, celebrating his status as an indie artist in the game. This July 4th, he released a powerful piece called “Independence Day” that takes us inside the hustle he’s been on for the past few years.
Warchyld’s motto is “Do something impossible,” and he fully intends to be a living embodiment of his motto. Many don’t believe that an artist can succeed in the game without a major label backing them. Warchyld is out to prove the industry wrong, building himself up as an indie powerhouse with music, branding, merch, and tours.
Shot and directed by David Garcia of Between Pictures, this powerful short vlog showcases Warchyld ready for war, and ready to take hip hop back to its original roots, with lyricism, and good music.
