Unfortunately, we lost a significant figure in music. Chester Bennington, lead vocalist of American rock band Linkin Park has died in result of suicide today (July 20). He was found dead at about 9 a.m at his home in Los Angeles County. The artist’s powerful voice healed the lives of many music fans. Although this is a very tragic loss in music, there is plenty of joyful Chester moments we will never forget. Celebrate the life of Chester Bennington below.

Chester proudly accepts VMA award for ‘best rock video’ for Linkin Park’s “Somewhere I Belong” in 2003.
Chester leads the band in the music video for “One Step Closer.” A song off their debut album Hybrid Theory which quickly helped them rise to international fame.
Linkin Park performs alongside hip-hop legend Jay-Z for the “Numb/Encore” Live performance at Roxy in 2004 for Collision Course. This was a historic moment in music and it won a Grammy Award for best rap/sung collaboration.
The music video for “What I’ve Done” was a major moment for the band. The song served as the theme track for the Transformers movie. It was nominated for a Grammy.
