Recently, Jay-Z was honored to have his album become certified Platinum in less than a week! In addition, he has released his tour schedule in promotion of his album and will be hitting your city soon in October.
In conjunction with his new visual for “4:44,” Hov has released his “Footnotes for 4:44,” which — alongside Jesse Williams, Chris Rock, Will Smith, Kendrick Lamar, Aziz Ansari and Mahershala Ali — see the Hip-Hop mogul discussing everything from race to relationships — he also gets real about his marriage with Beyoncé:
This is my real life… I just ran into this place and we built this big, beautiful mansion of a relationship that wasn’t totally built on the 100% truth and it starts cracking.
Things start happening that the public can see… Then we had to get to a point of ‘Okay, tear this down and let’s start from the beginning’… It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done.
As you know, he previously released the music video for “The Story of O.J.,” along with the footnotes version that includes Lamar, Rock and many more stars. Tidal users can view the new footnotes below while non-users can only watch a 30-second clip of the video.
